Even before I finished remastering Tamaishi, thoroughly revisiting the text and the illustrations with every thing I’d learned from Where All the Little Things Live, I knew I was running low on copies of Zosan, so I had it in mind to rework those illustrations as well.
While I’m not quite ready for printing, I’ve been making steady progress. I hope to be ready in the late fall of this year.
I learned a lot since 2015 when Zosan was first published… the least of which is that I had the structure of the elephants a bit off. They certainly look convincing enough but there was room for improvement. I was also using illustrator and a wacom at the time so it was much more difficult to get all the finer details. Or I just didn’t know how then. Either way — things are looking much better this time around!
Stay tuned for more!
